Street style Fashion weeks

Una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer durante las semanas de la moda: perder unas horas buscando fotos de outfits que me gusten. La verdad es que puedes encontrar outfits geniales en las fotos de street style.

Aquí teneis algunas de mis favoritas.

Sunday inspiration

I've finished my exams a week ago... so I can spend my time doing nothing again or getting inspiration with pictures like these ones.

VS fashionshow

There's just one fashionshow I really wait for a year to see and it is Victoria's secret one. We got to see the one from this year 4 days ago on TV but I didn't have time to see it completly 'til today and once again... loved it!

It's totally a different fashionshow: it's full of happiness, smiles, joy and fun. Literally you find yourself with a huge smile in your face while watching it. Models look happy, cheerful and it's all like a big party: in fact, there has to be a point why everyone is waiting for the day the fashionshow is aired on TV, and I bet it's all about the halo of happiness around the show.

Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio or Miranda Kerr are some of the big names we can see walking through the catwalk looking their best with the best lingerie of the brand: they really work so hard through the whole year to make some FANTASTIC pieces like the one Miranda Kerr was wearing this year, valued in 2.5 milion $ (two first pictures in the last line below). The costumes, full of colors and Swarovski elements seemed to be perfectly created for the angels: truly perfection.

There's something about this girls that don't let envy grow on me. In fact, I really enjoy the show and watching that lucky girls walking smiling in the runaway: they're so perfect, they truly deserve the angel name, because they really look like that. 

I've to say that the two moments I enjoyed the most of the show were those two:

- The fact that every time Miranda was hitting the catwalk, Orlando stands up to give her support.

- The "Moves like jagger" Maroon 5 performance, specially when Anne Vyalitsyna starts walking and Adam Levine walks with her holding hands and kissing her at the end, not before he lets her alone at the end of the catwalk for her minute of glory.

I'm so sorry if that was like a spoiler for those who haven't seen it yet :P it was not my intention!

Missing...

I don't really know what's happening to me. I'm totally a winter lover and specially a x-mas spirit lover, so in a normal conditions, I'd be SUPER EXCITED about x-mas that is just a month away and all this kind of stuff. But actually, I'm missing summer and the sea so so much that sometimes I even feel kind of nostalgic.

Maybe it's the stormy weather we've had this two last weeks (raining cats and dogs all the time...) or that it doesn't feel like EXTREMELY COLD yet... I don't know, but I keep thinking of summer and summer weather this much that I keep seeking for summer related photoshots all around. And I've found one amazing like this one you can see underneath :)

I have to say that I GOT COMPLETELY EXCITED when I arrived to the city this last Monday and saw that the x-mas lights were ready to be turned on! That means there's still hope for me, right?

shooting

It suddenly came to my mind that this last summer we did a shooting for a fashion collection of a friend. And I thought that it'd be a great idea to show you how it was and the result of it.

Cristina Tresserres is a friend of mine who was studying fashion design and she was doing her final project of the degree that consisted in make a collection with 5 different outfits and do a shooting. So she asked Guillem (photographer), Danae, Tania and me to help her doing it and of course, I said YES! And it ended to be an amazing experience! :)

Danae is one of my best friends ever so it was nice to be there and see the shooting; the pictures were taken by Guillem Costas, a very talented young boy who lives in the same town as me. He is REALLY good so you MUST take a look at the website he has HERE or in his FLICKR.

Tania is a friend of Cristina and a great make-up artist who helped Danae, who was modeling, with the beauty part of the project :) and finally me, I was there taking shoots of the making off and specially recording short videos to edit them later (you can see the video result and the end of the post). Of course I'M NOT a professional of that and to say the truth it was actually the first time that I was doing something like this... so I think the result was quite good if we think about that.

It was a long afternoon in an amazing place that I love, near the town where we all live. We started like at 17:00pm and ended at 22:00pm so yes, we had to go fast and fast because the night was saying "hello" to us, and you know: without light... pictures are not has good as they have to be! But we made it and here you can see some of the pictures and that little video I did.

It was def worth it!

this one is my favorite of all the shooting. It really looks like a magazine picture, doesn't it?

P.S: I'm actually going to take a coffee with Danae in a few hours. It's been a long time since our last coffee together and I can't wait! :)
