Michael Levin
One of my favourite things to do is to discover new artists. It's always a great surprise and something that truly fascinates me and this week I've found an amazing photographer that has literally blown my entire mind.

His name is Michael Levin and he's from Canada. He's such a famous photographer with a lot of adwards behind him like the FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR in 2009. And that's not weird, he trully desearves it: you just have to take a look at some of his pictures to understand it.
El seu nom és Michael Levin i és de Canadà. És un fotògraf ja reconegut amb molts premis a les seves esquenes com ara el de FOTÒGRAF DE L'ANY de l'any 2009. I no és estrany, realment es mereix el reconeixement: només cal mirar alguna de les seves fotografies per entendre-ho.
His pictures make you travel to a quite and peaceful place, and it's like you're suddenly there alone in the middle of the picture, just with your own thoughts: the silence fills the air and there's nothing that bothers you.
Les seves obres et transporten a un lloc tranquil i silenciós, de cop i volta estàs dins la fotografia, sol, només amb la companyia dels teus propis pensaments: el silenci omple l'aire i no hi ha res que et pugui molestar.
Is like you've finally found a great place to start over and forget every bad thing.
És gairebé com si haguessis trobat finalment aquell lloc on començar de nou i oblidar tot allò que no mereix ser dins teu.
Levin has a gift and that is shooting pictures and make the landscapes on them something sublime. Once you're looking at some of his pictures, you forget what's in it: the beauty of the pictures catch you since the beggining.
Levin té un do: fer fotografies a paisatges i transformar-los en alguna cosa sublim. Una vegada mires alguna de les seves obres, t'oblides del que hi ha en ella: la bellesa de la fotografia t'atrapa, t'envolta des del principi i no et deixa veure res més.
All of his work is in B&W and for me that's a wise move, without the power of colors he gets to give his pictures a touch of eternity and fragility: like time doesn't exist. It makes a moment and a second priceless.
Tota la seva feina està feta en B&N i des de la meva humil opinió, és tot un encert; sense la força dels colors aconsegueix el que per molts és complicat: atorgar a les imatges d'un toc d'eternitat i alhora, fragilitat: com si no existís el temps, com si tot fos efímer. Fa d'un instant, una cosa que no té preu.
Yes, it blows your mind.
And there're just a few artists that achieve this. They're like treasures: once you find them, you just gotta keep 'em with you.

I hi ha molt pocs artistes que ho aconsegueixin: són com tresors i una vegada els trobes, no els has de deixar escapar.
I'm not losing anything about the job of that canadian that wants to make our life more beautiful and simple with pictures like these.
Jo sense cap dubte no perdre la pista d'aquest canadenc amb ganes de fer-nos la vida més bonica i senzilla amb obres com aquestes.
